I don't want to be a teacher. Those of you on my f-list who know me in person know that I'm generally a shy, soft-spoken person, and probably suspect that's the reason why. actually, teaching (especially college level)is wonderful for travel/writing, because you get those off-months.

That is true... but I don't want to do something that I don't truly feel called to. It's not that I would rather write and therefore don't want to teach. I know I'll always make time to write around whatever job I end up with. Don't really have a choice about that, not if I want to keep my relationships good... I get way too grumpy when I go a little while without writing.
