Glancing at my calendar, I realize a few anniversaries have occurred. July 8th was the one year for taking the boards, July 11th was finding out I passed, and today was the one year of my first day of work as a real RN, BSN, blah blah blah. Damn, has it really been one year? Oh yeah, I went skydiving too. I have a couple of pictures.

Ok first of all, why did I think you had been nursing for longer than that?? But yay! your first year is over!!!

And the skydiving??? That is just CRAZY! A friend of mine asked me just the other day if I would go because her boyfriend does it at least once a year and he asked her to go. She wants me to go too, you know it isn't fun to die a tragic death alone....I said OH HELL NO!!!!!!!

I got dizzy taking the screen out of my 2nd floor window to put in the AC, I am surely not jumping out of a plane. But I bet it's an incredible experience...

you should give it a shot, there's nothing to it. the hardest part is the jump out, after that it's purely amazing and you feel so free and alive. i will definitely be going again.

i forgot to tell you... when i was in cali, i was in some novelty store, and they had all these random action figures, like edgar allen poe. then there was a male nurse one, and i thought of you... :)
