No Stephen King? Please please read at least "The Stand", "Hearts of Atlantis' and more recently "Duma Key" which for me counts among his greatest books. The only SK I did not like was "Dolores Clayborne" & "The Girl Who loved Tom Gordon" & "The Cell" The only thing about SK I truly hate is that he creates the most wonderful characters and then kill 'em off - you can see it coming and think "No No - please don't" But it happens.

You must also read SK's son - JOe Hill - Heart Shaped Box & Horn are both great books
