Thanks for posting that. I generally dislike Ave Maria, but I kinda needed that tonight. I dunno, weird headspace this evening.

I'd also never heard you sing before, though I knew you could. I guess that's kinda like getting you in photographs eh?

I'm not a huge fan of most Ave settings. I particularly dislike the Schubert one that everybody thinks of as "The" Ave Maria.

However, I absolutely adore the Biebl setting, its one of my favorite choir pieces.

And yeah, its something like that. :P I rarely sing anymore unless its in the shower or in my car either, although I wouldn't mind doing karaoke again sometime soon. :P

I never really was into karaoke before, but I recently started going to a Tuesday night karaoke (which also happens to be lesbian night at the bar where it's held) which is run by one of my regular customers from the cafe. I actually have a lot of fun. Obviously I didn't go tonight, I got dragged to the local beer snob bar and excused myself early. Aformentioned weird headspace and all.

I've thought about recording a few songs that I am particularly fond of that I used to sing when I was still a vocal performance major. You might have just given me a kick in the seat. We will have to see.
