The line for Stranger than Kindness piqued my interest something awful, as did The First Cut's. A Blue Million Miles did the same solely with its name. Also, this is sort of neat, having tiny sneakerpeeks at opening sentences. It certainly makes for some good anticipation.
I'm not sure you'll like StK, given the subject matter XD A Blue Million Miles is one of those titles that I love but that has an unintentional pun thing going on. It's actually a reference to Phoenix's eyes and it's kind of a muted fluff thing that I am struggling to hit the right tone with.
Well, that may be, but I still intend to have a go at reading it if you do finish it. I enjoy things you've written even when they unnerve me, simply because they're well-executed. So there. :P
And, heh. Now that I know it's about his eyes, and that it's fluff, I reeeeeally hope it gets its moment to shine, some day.
And I know I'm not a professional by any means, but I am always open if you ever want an extra beta reader. ^^

BTW: The First Cut is the post GS3 Miles one that I referred to in my "to write" list. The title is from the song "Duel" by Propaganda.
Most all of my working titles are song references as you can tell XD

Your Funeral, My Trial reference? In my birthday gift? ... It's more likely than I thought, I suppose. You do know how to pick the right song, too.
