A few days ago my muse woke up, her hair sticking out in all directions, and said, “Hey! That would make a great story!”

I know that some of the writers on my friends’ list - d_michiko_f comes to mind - finish a WIP and are able to start a new WIP without too much time away from the writing process

Yay, you're back!

Maybe we'll be starting a new project at the same time. ;) Tomorrow I finally get to work on something other than my rewrite (as it is waiting to be read), and that means plunging into a new work! Finally!

Although . . . I'll be planning before I do any plunging. I can no longer open a word file, type "Chapter one" and get started. That is like . . . digging my own writerly grave and then kicking dirt on myself.

I'd write more but I have to get going.
