Oh, bless his little heart and soul - Jon's posting again and he proves to us that he's a veritable cornucopia of knowledge, a font of enviable information that we dullards simply must know.

So Jon in bold, me being sarcastic.

Maybe it's an omen. )

I am simply on the edge of my seat, refreshing my reading filter like a madwoman to find out what happens next. No, really, it's almost as suspenseful as the Great LJ Blackout of '05.

I really have to call into question, which brain cells - in their death throes - tell Team LKH that this is the stuff that we all need to know?

Uhm. Yeah. What the fuck ever, dude.

How many people were out of power for how long after Katrina? Without food, running water and a roof over their heads--in the middle of the summer heat in the Deep South. and you want to bitch and whine about being out of power for what probably wasn't any longer than a few hours at most.

Talk to the hand.

Nicely done, dwg.

Not to mention, there's people like me on the other side of the world and we've just gone through a few days of unbearable heat - mercifully, no blackouts, but that's what we get to look forward to summer for. Oh yeah.

Really, I'll take the cold over the heat any day. At least with the cold, there are alternative ways of getting warm.

if we ever needed more proof that he's a total hanging chad, note the use of the term "anywho"...

I am currently twitching excessively. 'Anywho' is one of my pet peeves.

Hey, my great-aunt (and my grandmother did as well) says "anywho" ;p I think it's a midwestern/missouri thing.

I don't really get the reason to broadcast it. I mean, if it was impacting her main website, or something sure. But if not, a footnote mention in a later posting would be really all that would be maybe even possibly called for.. and even then if it really related to anything, you know, important.

You know how people used to cope with no heat back in the old days?

Everyone piled into bed together.

I'm sure this is a really foreign concept for certain people to grasp since in this case with no heat, would have been applicable to real life.

I just thought of that and wanted to add said comment to the comments pile.

Considering how prominently the bed figures into Anita's life (and, according to the blog, Laurell's), I'm surprised there was nothing about sleeping together like a pile of puppies, enjoying the primal animal heat of warmth, of being alive, of...

Yeah. You know where it's going. =)

Upside: there's heat! *happyface*
Downside: the heat is cursed! *sadface*
Upside: but you can get heat for free! *happyface*
Downside: it's still cursed. *sadface*
Upside: to get this heat, all you have to do is set all of LKH's books and manuscripts on fire. *happy face*
Downside: you may incur the wrath of your literary goddess *sadface*
Upside: fire will fix that too. *happyface*

Thank you. =D
