You know that you have my deepest sympathies. Please tell your family that I send my heart and positive thoughts out to them, too.

I know how traumatic and confusing it feels knowing that someone you love isn't going to be around much longer. My great-grandmother died back in February, after being in and out of the hospital and nursing facilities.

All my love and that sappy shit.

I told my mom you said that and she was like all choked up: "thats so sweet."

talking to her last night was the worst...her voice was like nothing I have ever heard before.

I called JetBlue and I'm coming home tomorrow night instead of next Thursday, so I'll be home until the 5th of July, which should be nice.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather. I lost mine in February so quickly that although it was really sad, I didn't have to think much about his deterioration, which is so hard.

I'm so sorry Laura. Your story is one of the saddest I've heard in a long time and it sucks that it has to be you. *hugs* and love.

Bless her...I'm sorry she has to go through that. I understand (in that guilt and having grandparents suffer with cancer sort of way :\) but you know its not your fault. Not your fault that youre not there right now because you never know and honestly who would want to...I say Go now, go as soon as you can. Go be with her now dude. You never know with that, she could pull through and make it 3 years, she could not... but go be with her while she is alive and you can talk to her yanno?
I'm sure you know its hard to find the right words in these situations. I really dont know what to say :(
I'm sorry Laura, my prayers are with you and your family, your Grandmother especially.

Thank you for that.

I called JetBlue all hysterical last night and changed my flight to tomorrow night, so I only have one more night of being here all by my lonesome. Its not going to be fun at home, but at least I'll be there for the end, most likely.

So I feel slightly better that I'm going to get home to be with my friends and family.
