As I mentioned in the first post in this community, LiveJournal is shrinking in activity at about a 1% rate per month. Some of this is due to sluggish development and a general ageing of the site, but some of it is also due to the fact that LJ/SUP adopts policies that discourage people from using the site, and discourage growth.
We aim to do what we can to bring our issues to the attention of the entire advisory board, and to the management of SUP/LJ. If that doesn't work... well, there are other options, none of them exactly ideal, but at least we will have given this one a serious shot.
Our goal isn't to be here for this advisory board campaign. It's to push for making our platform more of a reality for LJers.
