Feb 23, 2006 15:36

Several large workbenches are arranged in a haphazard fashion in the room. A large furnace sits unlit in the northern corner.

Not really hearing Talbot's encouragment, spittle starts to loosly run around her twin short tusks, one long strand begins to dangle down towards the floor.. her eyes darken and stare madly at the persistant little spike, the right one twitches. The fingers twine themselves tighter around the hammer.

In Orcish. "Grummish take you spike! Heed to the STRENGTH of KORD!"

Flying into rage she will strike the metal spike with as much force as she can gather, if it continues to be stubborn she will continue to hammer it for (7 rounds- 42 seconds) or until the hammer itself breaks.

Strength Check: 11+7 = 18 total

In her madness Jug'Jug very successfully bangs the spike around until it bends down into the floor like a bent nail.

Growling in disgust she will tilt back to lean against the opposing wall to catch her breath; gathering a wad of spit in her jowls and launching it at the bent spike.

"Uh, good try, Jug'Jug? I'm sure there'll be other spikes."

[If you're making a Craft (Armorsmithing) roll, without the tools, you're at -2 to the roll. With tools, the -2 penalty disappears. With masterwork tools, it's a +2 to the roll. I think that's how it works.]

[ooc: don't warforged take half from healing spells to? I think the not being able to naturally heal and taking half from healing spells is why they don't get a ECL adjustment... being immune to diease, poison, not having to breath, eat is nice :D]

They do. You guys really need someone who can learn the repair spells though.

*Punch picks up the tools and stows them within his robes*

Lugh slams his book shut. "Fascinating, riveting, two beards way down!"

"So what did I miss? Ooo, a forge! Shiny! I could attempt some repairs if you like, Punch. I could probably find the metal to fashion you a proper beard! What do you say!"

*Punch's eyes narrow at the last comment as he stares into Lugh*

"Repairs are not required now."

Having exhausted herself the Orc regards Lugh.

"Jug'Jug kuuld use sum repeers.."

Still looking quite cut up and bruised from the rat incident.

"Hmmm, a bit more of a challenge, but it is quite possible I could fashion a beard for you too. I tell you what, let me have your gold coins. I can melt them down and make you something to match that tiara."

Lugh lets go with a great big belly-laugh, obviously more satisfied with his joke than anyone else.

"Okay, seriously, so you need some rest. Okay with everyone?"

Cora nods at the dwarf's suggestion.

"I think resting would be wise, as I have depleted all of Pelor's blessings at this point."

[Psst. We rested last entry. You should have your spells back now in spades.]

Talbot shrugs.

"While I'm never one to turn down sleep, I think it would be best if we kept moving and searching for a way out of here."
