Sep 30, 2004 17:19

Quite a bit of new stuff this time around (though not so much if you’ve been using my unofficial releases before now):

Changes behind the cut. )

I'll change the permissions as soon as I can. My workplace has SSH blocked on their firewall (but telnet goes right through...)

Cool, thanks. (That’s a really weird policy, though. o_O)

There’s no way to do this in LJ.NET, nor do I know of any client which can perform this action. I’m sorry, but I have no plans to add it, either.

Really stupid question maybe. So after downloading and installing the new version, none of the version numbers changed within the program. In the about window it still reads v.0.9.9. None of the file modified dates changed either. I was just curious if this means I'm a moron and didn't install it right. Oh, if this was the wrong place to post this kind of a question, please be kind. :)

Okay, did you close LJ.NET before you installed 0.9.10? Install it over 0.9.9 (without uninstalling)?

I thought I did, but it might have been partway through the installation when I did...I worked the problem out by just uninstalling and reinstalling the new version. My main concern with doing that was losing any settings, but they all seem to have remained. Definitely my bad.

Yeah, I had the same version issue, it just didn't seem to overwrite when i installed the new version, and it created a second entry in add remove, I just uninstalled both, and then reinstalled the new version, and everything is khosher now... :) good job
