I have a job.  I start on Monday.  I'm excited.

Does anyone know anything about teaching?  I'm kinda gonna be doing that.  Be very afraid.

DO NOT STRANGLE THE STUDENTS! DO NOT THROW THE STUDENTS AGAINST LOCKERS! ...that's about all I remember from elementary school. Give the redheads A's... remember your good friend Red when they get upset and hysterical and treat them like you would me were I in a bad mood...with bribes and effusive compliments :D Good luck! Bona fortuna! Buena suerte! You'll do uber well!

Aw, man, student abuse was the first item on my syllabus! It doesn't count as bad if it's a private school, right?

And of course I'll give the redheads as much favoritism as I can, but I will also be dealing with that alien-to-Hillsdale concept of racial diversity we've heard so much about, so I'll have to cut the blondes a little slack.

Thanks for the love. Mwah!

Aw, thanks! Yeah, I'm super-excited, and I'm confident I can pull it off, but, man, children are terrifying creatures. It's going to take some zen breathing, to say the least.

Since I'm dealing with 3-to-14-year-olds, I'll now know what I have to look forward to with Tyrion. Yay (I think)!

Thanks for your support. Love!

Well, I have been doing that for 7 years, 9 years if you include substitute teaching.

Congrats. Glad to hear you're shaping impressionable young minds. If they can't appreciate sci-fi, fantasy, or Ayn Rand, I'm sure you'll have ways of dealing with them. What level?

Well, it's Montessori, so I'll be dealing with ages 3 to 14 at different times throughout the day. I might hit you up with some questions as I get into it. Gracias!

I know next to nothing about Montessori though, and the youngest I've taught is 14.
