LiveJournal for Windows Mobile, The First ReleaseyagathaiApril 9 2010, 03:05:37 UTC
This may be a very stupid question, but while I can see how many comments a given post has, I canlt figure out how to read those comments, either on my own posts or on my friends list. Is there a way to view the comments?
I would also like to know if there is a way to read comments using this new client. Right now, I'm using the client to read the posts and my browser to read the comments and it's kind of ridiculous. :/
Also, I just installed the app on my Omnia and my friends page will not display. I'm going to uninstall/reinstall to see if that corrects it, but wanted to make you aware of the issue.
ETA: Reinstall did not correct the problem. My Mobile View filter loads correctly when accessed from m.livejournal.com.
Just downloaded LiveJournal For Windows Mobile from m.livejournal.com, and installed it on my HTC Maple S520. When I try to launch it fails with error:"NotSupportedException. I don't think it's too much to ask - to test your application before you make it available for users.
Installing the app for Windows MobilepoeticsoulgirlApril 17 2010, 07:04:13 UTC
Ok I guess this app only works on Windows Mobile 6.. I have Windows Mobile 6.1 and is not letting me install it. It downloads on my device and then it tells me the installation was unsuccessful.
Ok now I feel stupid. If is no bother can you explain to me how you install it because is not working for me? I download it and then when is time to install it gives me an error. So I'm pretty much lost right now and I very much like to have the app on my phone.
I don't think you should feel stupid at all! It sounds like something is going haywire. Have you tried downloading the file on a computer, then installing it on the phone? Perhaps the phone is having trouble downloading the full file.
