The turtles were too adorable. Poor Carson. ;D Oh, and this is the first time I've really not liked General Landry. He was downright MEAN to Carson, and the whole team. I understand his urgencey, but "I didn't call YOU, Doctor" was a little harsh.

Yes! Do you know if they're showing the Christmas Invasion or if they're jumping right into New Earth? I think Christmas Invasion is important, but I suppose it doesn't really count as a proper episode...:P
It's amazing how the perspective on the character changes from one series to the other. We see a very different side of him in SGA than we do in SG-1. And yeah, his last comment to Beckett was nastier than it should have been.
They're showing Christmas Invasion, definitely. A lot of the clips were straight from that episode. And it was a full length episode.
You might be thinking of the the Children in Need special, which was just a six-minute bit where they introduced the new Doctor and got through Rose's shock and denial. I'm not sure if they're showing that. If you haven't seen it, go to youtube, type in Doctor Who Children in Need, it should get it for you.
"M'turtles!" OMW... and yes, I was screaming at the computer as well. Me no thinky they be Ancients at all...
OH DEAR. And I have this horrible feeling that they might kill Jack off! *snicker* okay, ignore that phrasing. But I really think they might kill him... I hope they don't. I would cry. They can kill Woolsey, though. I don't like him. I wouldn't cry. ^_^
Umm...methinks I shall start that fic "The Fate of Carson's Turtles" sometime soon, giving you mucho credito. ;)

I actually got thinky about this episode and it's possible reprecussions back at my journal.
