I'm not sure when I'll get to watch SG-1's "Arthur's Mantle"; dinner was late and I think we'll be leaving too early tomorrow morning to watch it then. But I'll comment on Atlantis' "Michael" tonight.
I actually rather quite liked Michael. But then, I wasn't that bothered by the absence of McKay - and a few people have said, and I agree, that it makes sense. He's not the world's best liar, and having him around Michael a lot would have very quickly given it away.
Sheppard freaked the crap out of me in this ep - him and Ronon holding the Wraith down and then saying, "You need a name; how about Mike."
So I'm not alone in thinking that Sheppard is seriously scary in this episode? Okay, I'm going on the moral implications, but gah. He's never been my favorite, but yeah, he got creepy and dangerous and I'd really hate to have him think I was the enemy because he gets ruthless.
Yeah, I also noticed that Rodney was hardly in this episode. There was only one scene with him. Michael's last name was amusing though. It was Micheal Kenmore. *is reminded of the washing machine commercial*
Yeah, Elizabeth's dialogue did seem to be off. In the one scene where she asks Carson what he thinks, I thought that perhaps she would have said something different. I also would have thought that maybe her character or some other character besides Teyla would have an ethical problem with testing on Michael. I guess not.
