Reading up and outlining

Friday and the weekend was taken up with a series of work and social engagements (and sleep, sweet sleep) but I did read several articles about ancient Goguryeoh and Baekje and write out some of my ideas about Book 1. Dang, this stuff is interesting. I love when kingdoms and royals get all complicated with their rivalries.

Thank you! I love this kind of stuff, too. Shadow of the Dragon King was also a political story but largely about factional strife in one country, with the war as a background. With the current project there's both internal and external conflict, which is more complex but also more interesting.
