was gonna write a nice pleasant little entry about my experiences with “unintentional improv”...when someone misses an entrance and you have to B.S for a while, to keep the play going. Or when everyone onstage is blanking on their lines so you talk around to try to give the ol synapses time to get it back together

Congratulations on the engagement, though! That is completely wonderful news. :D
I'm now having dark memories of high school drama productions, where you would think that people forgetting their lines was the worst of it. But skipping over the lines where other characters enter, and THEN getting lost? Ack. That's a whole different type of improv. Yes, I was one of the actors waiting offstage when my cue got bypassed.
