So I'm an American and my German is not fluent, but I have a couple of corrections.

"Was wurden Sie gerne essen?" Generally, when you speak to children, especially your own child, you would use the "du" form of you, not "Sie."

"Du machen Pfankuchen?" I would write "Machst du Pfankuchen?" to mean "Are you making pancakes?" The verb ending on machen needs to agree with the "du" Or else you could say "Wurdest du Pfankuchen machen" for "would you make pancakes?" N.B. I'm not sure I've got that last one 100% right. Also, I don't know how to do umlauts on this computer. :)

"Sind du hungrig?" should be "Bist du hungrig?"

I hope you have fun learning German!

Also, I don't know how to make umlauts on my computer, either. To get them, I googled the word, then copied and pasted it. :P

re: hunger

I remember being warned about this in German class (decades ago), but I don't recall the specifics. Know that some ways to express an empty stomach may suggest sexual lust instead. This could be . . problematic.
