There used to be a site called LJBook, but it went away and apparently is back under a different name for a variety of blog formats as a free/paid service. Try googling "ljbook".
I used to use LJBook and loved it but now I'm having problems with the new BlogBooker service so I was hoping ljArchive could export to PDF instead. Thanks though!
LJ Archive can't export directly, but the database is in a standard format, so there might be something out there that would import the database entries and export a PDF. BlogBooker gets their information from LJ, which is a different deal.
Check out BlogBooker.com (used to be LJBook). Can create a PDF or Word documents. It works really well. The only problem I have is that the PDF is really big, and takes forever to open. But then I don't have a very powerful PC. It's a paid service now. You can create stuff for free, but it's very limited.
I came here to sing praises for BlogBooker. I had the most impossible time trying to figure out how to download my entries...XJournal would always crash while exporting. I couldn't get Winebottler to install Semagic properly on my Mac, though it worked one time on an old, old computer, and that was lost long ago. The XML file downloaded straight from LJ would always download blank.
Blogbooker finally did it. You can download a year at a time for free, which worked for me.
