downgrading from Plus / merging FAQ 288 into 114?

Based on the discussion in this post, it looks like it's worth considering merging 288 and 114. Both cover the same topic, but 114 does it more clearly and in depth (and is better linked.) So, I propose this: let's change 114 to the title "What happens to my account if my Paid time expires? How do I downgrade my account to Basic?" and then hide 288

I think I would add a "from Plus" near the end of the FAQ title you propose, to make it clearer that you're not still talking about Paid accounts: "What happens to my account if my Paid time expires? How do I downgrade my account from Plus to Basic?".

I don't have much time to look through the rest now, but the basic idea sounds good. :)

Actually that was something else I meant to mention: I've noticed at least a few requests that say "Can I downgrade my account from Paid" and since the answer is "no", we may as well include that in the FAQ, as this is as good a place as any.

I agree - as I said in another discussion, 288 really could do with some links. Statements like "You may lose theme and layout settings" are not really that helpful on their own, if you don't get additional information or a link to it, you will not be able to determine in which cases that will actually happen.

Uhm... by which I mean that I think both FAQs should be merged, or if that is not possible for some reason, 288 should be totally revamped, preferably following the format in 114.
