Display limit of Members/Watched By should be noted in a FAQ somewhere...

Thanks to the answer given in this request, I now finally know what the display limitations of the Members and Watched By lists are for Community Info pages (5000 for each, including the deleted, purged, and/or suspended users that are counted but would not display on the lists ( Read more... )

No worries. ;) Although, what I usually do is just delete and repost the comment with the corrections as needed, especially if I've forgotten to use the tag to display "<" and it eats most of my comment's text. =/

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. Let's see what the userdocs folks say. =)

Is this really specific to communities? This doesn't apply to other types of accounts?

Yes, this is comm-specific because members/watchers are comm-specific. I think the 5000 limit also applies to Friend-ofs for personal and syn accounts. But all that really means is that we need a user info faq when the new revision goes through...

Right, but if the 5000 limit also applies to Friend-ofs of other types of accounts, then I'm not sure that this really deserves its own mention in the Community FAQs.
