New ScrapBook FAQ- Customizing galleries

My first go at writing an FAQ from scratch. I think I caught all my britishisms. Might want to take a deep breath before reading though, it got a bit long.

It was also harder than I expected to write, so please do point out anywhere I've gone off the rails or need something adding etc.

That looks pretty good. I did make a few changes, mostly in the top few paragraphs, and a couple of sentence structure and British=>American grammatical edits. This is a great start, and it looks like it won't need much editing. I'm just... strange in what I think sounds 'right ( ... )

Is there a way to put a tracker on the scrapbook pages?

I know that with the LJ styles, certain ones will allow a text object tracker, or that I can put one in my entries, but I am not familiar with wedesign and don't really know if there is a way that one of these things translates to something workable in scrapbook.

Yeah, you could. ScrapBook uses the S2 style system, just with different layouts. So, as with S2 layouts, you could create a Theme Layer for the SB style you're using and then add the counter code in there. Of course SB uses a whole load of different functions to the LJ layouts, so you'd have to work out where to put it.

I'm not hugely into S2 myself so couldn't tell you what to put where, and as SB is still just getting off the ground, there aren't many (if any) customisation tutorials out there. The only place I know of for SB customisation is fblayers, but they say they're not a help community, so I guess you couldn't ask there. Um, I don't know what else to suggest really. The nearest thing I could think of that wouldn't require any real knowledge of S2 would be to suggest to the LJ developers that ScrapBook should have a page where you can view the stats for each of your albums. Just no. of hits or something. Perhaps as an addition to the Account Status page
