FAQ #135: What are the options when I log in? states:exampleusername (Log in exampleusername, leaving both options set to their default values). Shouldn't that be "Log in as exampleusername"? Similarly for the three lines below it.
Not necessarily. The verb phrase "log in," while generally used as an intransitive verb, can also be used transitively, as in "that script will log in $user on the server \\foo" and so forth.
