When I attempt to expand all comments through "Check All" and then clicking the "Expand" button, I get this (at the url: http://www.livejournal.com/talkmulti.bml)
Error You have not selected one of the actions. Please go back and choose if you would like to screen, unscreen, or delete the comments.
How on earth am I meant to expand comments at all considering the issue bwinter is having?
Is there a reason I can't expand anything when viewing in my own style is I add '?style=mine' to the end of the URL? I had to go to my account settings and set everything to view in my own style through there. Which is annoying because I don't always WANT to view everything in my own style, I like to see the layouts my friends have. But the new default comment pages are THAT hideous, so I guess I'll deal with not seeing my friends' fancy layouts until you come to your senses and roll back this garbage. I can't even choose an icon on the default page, I click on the little arrow and nothing happens -- and it won't even let me click 'post comment'.

We are also planning to create a new S2 commenting style which will appear & function in the same way as the old site scheme commenting page to be included in the near future. Because I don't WANT an s2 commenting style that appears and functions like the one you just rolled out. I have paid accounts set up with automatic payments and have bought

This should have been done before you rolled out the new look, especially given that the new look is a broken piece of shit.
Agreed. I'm glad it's being done at all, and that the old subject lines were moved into the body of the old posts instead of completely disappearing, but that would've been the best course of action.
It doesn't work properly for one thing - you have to refresh the page to get comments to post.
It also looks utterly, utterly terrible. Incredibly dated, and honestly just like a sad attempt at being hip and modern - which is obvious and embarrassing to be frank.
Removing the subject lines massively reduces functionality, the whole page takes ten times as long to load, and the userpic of the userhead with a paper bag on its head is ugly and pointless.
I do not want the customised comment pages - I want the old, standard commenting page.

At the time I posted I didn't have "Expand" links at all either, but all of those issues seem to be fixed.
Subject lines back would still be pretty awesome. :(
