Never tried it myself. But did you escape the quotes? The Console Reference [http://www.livejournal.com/admin/console/reference.bml] notes this is important.

You can visit the (database) schema (browser) at yourdomain.foo/admin/ to find out what type of value the sort order field takes. .

Beyond those tips though (since I haven't used it) I can't suggest anything.
