...may I make a case for MultiLJ?

It is a full-featured LiveJournal client for Windows XP and Vista, using the .NET 3.5 Framework. It is under active development, and has it own community (multilj). Can it actually be used to post to LJ? From the community's userinfo, it seems to be basically a fancy rich text editor.

Yes, it can be used to post to LJ. You can save the passwords, list of avatars, tag lists, and lists of custom friends groups from multiple accounts into it (just give it the user name and password, and it can retrieve all of those lists from LJ), and choose which ones to use when posting. I'm also working on a rudimentary cross-posting ability (although I'm not sure if I want to include that, or if I should put a limit on it, since it would be ripe for abuse) and I could fairly easily make it compatible with DreamWidth as well if I got enough requests (I know people who use both LJ and DW, but I'm pretty much LJ only).

One of the biggest draws, the reason many people are using it (I think), is the ability to create customized user links with a huge library of alternate icons; but it does so much more. Also creates LJ Polls, all manner of lists and tables, and so forth. I use it for editing HTML outside of LJ as well as for writing LJ posts.

It also has a built-in programming language (based on FORTH) which can be used for writing ( ... )
