Look in your apache error logs. That usually give a big hint if you have something missing. Also run $LJHOME/bin/checkconfig.pl to make sure you aren't missing anything.

I think this is were the majority of my problems are comming from. I cannot get a full download of the code and its messing other things up.. I wish some one who has gotten the full code could just put it all in a tar file or something so i can untar it into the cvs/livejournal folder and then it would pull it into the main one...

I'm having the same problem and can't seem to find a way to shoot an email to 6 apart. (I suspect that sending one to LJ would fall on deaf ears. ) Might I obtain a copy of the sfw as well.

Thanks.
Tom

I'm getting the same error as well.

I'm in the middle of doing all this, so I don't know if it'll work in the end, but what has gotten me past this immediate hurdle (and put some of the appropriate files in the bin folder, like the entire upgrading/ folder the documentation references so much), is to repeat the svn command again. The second time it marches along, and ends with "Checked out revision 13814" rather than the error so I'm hopeful that this fixes it.

Hope this helps. If it doesn't help me, I'll post a follow-up.
