One of my LJ friends told me that our paid user space for pics will go down from 10GB to 2GB. Apparently this has happened to her already in migrating to the new scrapbook. Is this true? If so it would be good to have it included here. From what she said, it sounded like she only found out after she migrated and possibly it's mentioned in the original Russian post?

If it is true it really annoys the heck out of me... This is exactly what Photobucket did to users with free accounts. :(

Well, all paid users have (and always had) limitation to 2Gb space for pics.

Thanks for clearing that up - I have no idea where she got 10GB from.

Perhaps she upgraded her disk quota.
Annual cost is $24 for 10Gb.

BTW, if so and it ended before time - this could be bug that we should investigate.

So if we've purchased extra disk space (I currently have 15GB as a permanent account) will we lose that extra space? After migration, will I still have 15GB of space for pics?

I'm on the beta it shows me as having 15GB of disk space.

You cannot purchase the Disk Quota addon when you have permament account.
