Missed LJ. Hope you get back and functioning. Why the heck are folks trying to DDOS our remarkably mundane personal journals? It just doesn't make sense.

Apparently the Russian LJ is home to a number of political dissidents, whose blogs have been attacked before. I gather the difference with this one is that it wasn't just directed at those blogs but at the whole site, the purpose possibly being to force LJ to dump the political blogs.

Frankly speaking, Russian LJ is home to a number of political persons.

Dissidents as well as official Russian govt members (including blog_medvedev himself and several Russian senators).

Yes, LJ is #1 Blog platform in Russia. And I hate that DDoS things as well. Very sad that political intrigues affects common folks like us.
