I've occasionally wished for a "kudos" button here like they've implemented on AO3, and I'm not against the idea if we have control over whether it's implemented on our journals and where, and it's not just automatic. (As long as it actually functions as promised. ) There are times when I've read something and want to let the author know I've been by but haven't anything brilliant to add.
I am strongly against the idea of viewing/ranking comments by how many +1's they've received; how popular. Keep the comments ordered as they are now, please. I have no interest in comments on my journal being "ranked by popularity".
