I love this. The way it's written is really engaging and so visceral. It's like I could see it all happening. And the ending, I was really not expecting it at all. The gruesomeness was shocking and disturbing and amazing. (Though, I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to mean so I'm going to read through it a few more times.)

Anyway, great writing and I loved it!

Whatevs, I loved it anyway :) the little details were perfect (e.g., the roach-scuttling gave me chills, haha). I like the vagueness when describing what Dean sees in the room (as Sam is EATING HIM OMG); leaving it to the imagination almost guarantees that it's creepier than anything else. Much praise!

You know, I don't think he is a zombie, he just came back... wrong, I guess, and brought something along with him neither of them had dealt with before. I'm happy all the little details came across, and that the vagueness worked. I remember when I was younger the horror stories that scared me the most were the ones when the worst parts were in my imagination.

First, I am really sorry for the late reply - RL has left me with no time lately for anything resembling free time.

No, you're right, Sam wasn't a zombie and he did indeed come back wrong, probably with some sort of passenger hitching a ride. Definitely still mostly Sam though, just not enough to control the urge in the end.

Aww, I'm sorry! It is pretty grim -- I honestly don't know what came over me with this one because I hate unhappy endings! I'm glad though you enjoyed the creepy, though, and I hope you found something fun to read before bed to give you sweet dreams. :)
