disclaimer--this is not a personal jab at any of my childfree friends--I don't get this flack from any of them. I just found it something interesting for my friends with children to read.

Carolyn hit it right on. Frankly, I wonder if my gay husband wrote this. He doesn't get how hard it is go get anything accomplished.

Sheesh...it's a good think she admitted it's a choice, because after reading that made me wonder why Carolyn had a kid in the 1st place...she's a far better mother then I am if she get's all that done...but I don't like her refferring to her kid as a second tier...maybe that's just me.

Heck, I have no kids, and by choice probably won't ever because I realize how much work they are (I'm not responsible enough for a puppy, no way I can have kids!) and heck, without kids, when I have 10-20 minutes of "alone" time, I almost never call people either cause I need the break, and I don't have the kids. The person writing the letter is obviously an idiot. Just being at home with them is a lot of work, and I have friends, doing it alone, and working too...when they have time to hang out I'm really amazed!!
