Liz.

I'm legitimately crying right now, I can't even. I will come back and say more when I have my wits about me. But. Liz. I love you. Thank you.

Oh this is so fantastic. I love to see the wonderful workings of Mycroft's mind as he just gets it, and poor Anthea/Anthony who struggles till the very last with it. The parts with with Mummy and with Sherlock were very hurtful. Like Mycroft I wanted to smack them.

I have to admit, in my head I actually did slap Sherlock. What a prick. :P Thank you so much :D

I'm loving your Mycroft/Anthea. There are so many meaningful layers in this fic, all these questions and issues about gender that are rarely tackled in fic, or even in published literature. Thank you for sharing.

^///^ Thank you for saying as much. I do try to layer my fics, if subtly - especially with such delicate and, for, me close-to-home issues as these. <3

LIZ. MYCROFT. JUST. WOW.

It was the way a person held themselves, or how they spoke, or maybe how brilliant they were that held your interest, and from there it turned from interest to attraction

I swear to God, this is the most perfect line about human bisexual, pansexual, EVERYTHINGsexuality I have ever read. Ever. Oh god, and the way you portray his relationship with Mummy, oh, go and make this wonderful man into a Woobie and I am meeelting.

THE FIRST MEETING WITH ANTHONY IS SO INTENSE FROM MYCROFT'S POV. I could literally feel everything clicking into place, the who what where YES INTERESTING-HOTNESS of the situation.

When he is Anthony, you want to...

Well, that, actually.

I am legit almost drooling over this.

That has happened to you too many times to count. Can I hug him now? Please ( ... )

LOL, JEN. I'm finally getting around to answering these comments and suddenly

GIANT WALL OF TEXT

Love you, dear. :D You can hug Mycroft all you like, and I have no idea how I did it either and you get endless bonus points for using the right form of "complementary" rather than "complimentary." <3

Drunk!Sherlock is a prick. XD

LOVE YOU. REALLY DO. THANK YOU JEN <3333

I'm not particularly a fan of Mycroft or Mycroft/Anthea, but this...

I love this. It's beautifully done, even though the part with Sherlock is like a punch to the chest. (As much as I'd like to think he'd be dismissive of conforming to gender roles, I find it more likely he'd be exactly as you portrayed. I can't help but want to scream at him.)

And Mummy! So accepting and wonderful on one hand and failing so much on the other, painfully human. Heart-wrenching.

Thank you for writing this.

Hiiiii Imbrii! :D I don't think you hung around BakerStreet at the time that I wrote this, did you? Ack, I fail at timelines...

I'm a huge fan of Mycroft. I SHIP MYCROFT/LESTRADE TO PIECES. I don't know where this came from, either (I lied, yes I do. IT'S FROM MY INFINITE LOVE FOR INTRO :D).

I've said it before; I'll say it again: I actually did, in my head, slap him. But I needed an antagonist, briefly, and Sherlock... Well. He's Sherlock. He really would be like this, to some extent. :(

<3333 YOU'RE ALWAYS, ALWAYS WELCOME. THANK YOU FOR APPRECIATING IT :D
