Time rolled by, a lazy tumbleweed across a dusty plain.
*cannot contain snickers*

Love, Mylara thought wistfully.
Awwww.

This is such a weird fic, in a way, because - you know - Mylara? But then again, it works, at least for me it does. I think Mycroft really would have been like this had he been born as a girl. I think it was very sweet, romantic, occasionally very bitter and angsty. A nice mix of all the good stuff! :)

You just put 'John' and 'Barrowman' and 'Gareth' and 'Lloyd' so close together that I got all squinty at it. In a good way.
But regardless of my confused brain, I really enjoyed this. Was sweet and simple and altogether lovely. Rawr.

(And then John-I-mean-Gareth starts going by David and it gets REALLY weird.)

<3 THANK YOU <3

Oh, holy hell. I'm am so in AWE of this. It's perfect. Mylara is perfect. Lestrade is perfect and I want one for my very own.

"You don't seem like you'd settle for just one country."

Boom. Spot on. All of it. I really, really enjoyed this.

Oh wow. The start of this is actually quite sad. Mainly because most women go through life like that which makes the beginning very believable. I do like how you made it out so 'Mylara' rose above the whole gender discourse while most women would just give up.

I am very much in love with this Lestrade/Mycroft(Mylara) pairing. The love between them was so very bittersweet and just plain lovely.

To be honest I pulled a good amount of that beginning from my own life experience. <3 Yay, Mylara! And I'm very glad Lestrade/Mylara worked! Thank you!

Sheer brilliance. ♥ I love your realistic depiction of the trials women face from gender discrimination. Your Mycroft (Mylara) is perfect and so easy to identify with, I love her strength and weaknesses, and her relationship with Lestrade was fascinating to read.

I love the puns you put in with the names! So clever! :D

I LOVE PUNS. I CANNOT RESIST THEM. :D

Thank you so much! I'm so glad she works as a rounded character, and with Lestrade, as well <3
