I really like the way you dealt with this, though. I thought this part was really interesting and good:
"He never did have trouble sleeping after he found out. He never lost his appetite. He could do his work just fine."
It's so simple, but it expresses so well how done he is with it all. Don't feel trapped, baby, especially since Lu Han's a cheat. Be free~

Also really love the imagery of spring, of things waking up and coming to life. It's so interesting, because breakups aren't supposed to be beautiful -- but this one kind of really is. This is so bittersweet (mostly just bitter because this otp and my feels honestly -- written more optimistically than that) and so lovely and just lasghpweoiru

i feel like a lot of breakup fics/angsty fics in general focus wayyyy too much on like disgusting, heartwrenching, horrific TYPICAL breakup scenarios.
there's nothing positive that comes from any of it, and that's not real.
it's just not.
i feel like sehun's a lot more strong in his will than other EXO members and this would be how he deals with it.
