It's good that you can look back and see that, yes, things do get better.
Yes, so many LJ friends have moved on over the years. Whenever I go back and read my old journal posts, I find myself wondering how they are doing. But seeing that everything about the internet is transient, it's quite wonderful that LJ has lasted and flourished even this long.
Winter came back, even here. Hailstones were battering down the tulips yesterday, and my car door was frozen shut this morning - there was a lot of fruitless tugging at it, before I gave up and nipped back indoors for some hot water to defrost it.
Yes, it is interesting and sometimes sad to look back at early entries. So many people have moved on, though I'm in touch with quite a few of them on Facebook. Three have died, which is even sadder, but it was lovely to have known them.
