not so bleak after all

I tend to think of November as a rather bleak month. It gets dark alarmingly early, most of the trees are bare now, and the weather is far from charming. As it turns out, there is much out there still to interest an amateur naturalist and photographer

Cool stuff! I especially love the milkweed photo. I haven't thought of where to go for the next Urban Nature Walk yet, any ideas?

Wonderful pictures! I think the ice has to be my favourite - after two weeks of near non-stop rain I'm pining for some dry frosty days...
