While friends in southern California report temps above 100 degrees, here in New England we have a frost warning for tonight, and relatives and friends in central and western NY are reporting snow. In the middle of May. While not unheard of, it's quite unusual

It's still chilly here and the forecast at lunchtime mentioned the possibility of snow over the Brecon Beacons (away to the south of us) tonight. We also keep getting hail showers. :(

I noticed all my UK friends reporting dreary, cold weather as well. It would be nice if we had spring before summer gets here!
