I've been noticing a certain crankiness amongst my friends (and in myself) the past few days. I've also noticed that most of us are experiencing unpleasant weather. I know that too many grey, rainy days in a row tend to make me cranky. I imagine that flooding and drought would also be cranky-making

Even my pets are cranky. The cats are sleeping in their crates instead of in their beds by the windows. The turtles aren't basking. And I have a migraine.

My neighbor's bird is also cranky, although he says it's because he clipped her wings. ;)

We have had to put the heating on again and I have gone back to using the light box in the mornings. :(

You'd think that after the winter we had, we'd have a nice spring! Not so much, as it turns out. :P

It's been raining here for days, too...but that may why I've gotten a bit more writing done.

Don't move to the west of Scotland, then. We're resigned to having wet, windy, miserable weather for the rest of the summer.
