After looking at your pics, I always wish I could walk with you. :)

I love that bridge.

And the turtles!

When I lived in Nashville, there was a lake past where our street dead-ended. I used to fill my camera with black and white film and head down there, slog through the shallow water to take pics of the turtles on the fallen trees. The contrast between light and shadows was so awesome with B&W film.

Thank you! I usually go there in the afternoon, so it's nice to get the morning light for a change. That bridge is in full light later in the day.

That's False Solomon's Seal.

Cool! We have some False Solomon's Seal in the woods near us, but I've never seen berries on it.

The heart on the birch tree made me smile. I like everything! Like queenoftheskies says, the bridge one is really striking. I like the feathers too, and the jewelweed flower.
