It's getting darker by the minute, and I hear the distant rumbling of thunder. Yay! I love thunderstorms. I hope this cools things down, too.

It's been so dry here. We really need the rain.

It did rain last night after all, between about 3 and 5 in the morning. It brought down the heat a bit, although just for the morning. During the storm, even Nike sat in her basket by an open window and didn't seem to mind the slight mist falling on her occasionally.
