SEF Beltane celebration at the
barn in Grafton today. I went early to help set up; when I got there near 1:00, there were quite a few folks there already. We tied ribbons to the maypole, set it up, and made other preparations before the ritualgoers started arriving around 2:00

The food is raised by Community Harvest Project for the Worcester County Food Bank. Last years harvest was about 25,000 pounds of food, which was down from the 2004 figure of 39,000 pounds. The weather really played havoc with our growing season last year.
Community Harvest Project would not be able to do what it does with out volunteers. This is an organization that runs on a shoe string. If anyone is interested in volunteering, let me know by emailing me at sophia_spirit@yahoo.com.

I think it was all those years selling cosmetics, having all the awful things the sun does to your skin beaten into my brain. Plus, I don't like pain. ;D
