That was SO WEIRD. I'm paying more attention to the internet than the TV and while listening to Truman howl, I started hearing other dogs howl... wtf, you know? How could that be? It doesn't seem to be coming from the video.. couldn't possibly be neighborhood dogs -- my speakers are on low (aside from the fact that I can't imagine making dogs nearby howl in response to my laptop). Then I look up and saw that I had stopped the TV on Animal Planet and there is a show about wolves on.. something about a man keeping wolves.. and he's sitting there with them and they're all howling.
All alarms are cursed, actually, not just the alarm clock. What's amusing is that if you searching on "howling," and "ridgeback," on You Tube you find an enormous number of similar howlings. I had no idea Ridgies were so mouthy.
