The closest I've gotten to BoucherCon were dealer's room passes the years it was in Chicago and Milwaukee, but that was quite impressive, and people seemed to be having a really good time. Cleveland is kinda cool in it's own way; they have an art museum that left my college-age self gasping.

Ooh, didn't know about the art museum. If we go, I'll have to add that to the list (along with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, of course).

I'm primarily looking at it as a networking opportunity, but I'm a firm believer in mixing business with pleasure.

I was going to go until the derecho took out my fence and incidentally most of my Bouchercon budget.

I'd say that it's an excellent place to see, be seen, and maybe make some connections.
