I'm glad you enjoyed it! I struggled a bit with the prompt, but it turned into a lovely fractured fairy tale. Ann as the fairy godmother was the ball that got the fic rolling. The egg joke was my favorite.

This is wonderful!!! That entire scene with Leslie and Ann discussing her correspondence course was hilarious. And you used the name Torple! This whole thing was marvelous and super entertaining, and I really wanted it to keep going .I just loved this!

Ann as Fairy Godmother is more than I could have hoped for. And Leslie being excited to go to a ball to meet bureaucrats. Even Cinderleslie is always consistent in her character : ).

The political convention idea was ridiculous, but it worked for some reason. I knew Leslie wouldn't swoon at the idea of a ball alone, so fairy tale bureaucracy was the way to go. Thanks for reading!
