Nearly $5,000 on a Visa credit card my father thought was paid off. ($2,000 this month's billing alone)

Oh no!! Can you get the CC company to get your dad's name off the cards and point out he hasn't been using them? That sucks big time. *hugs*

All of dad's accounts at the credit union (which includes his card) are restricted. Dad can't tell me why and we need to both get on the phone to dal with this and thus far I haven't found the time. I'm frustrated because I took him physically into the bank to set up online access and we still can't do it. Getting my name put on his account requires me dragging him to the bank again, filling out the papers, then getting them notarized. PLUS even if I do all this, Pop has to be the one to say they can't use it any more. I'm going to talk to him today about it. I kept waking up last night thinking about all this. Damn parasites.
