Priorities?

When one of my co-workers and I hinted at watching the Inauguration in the classroom today, the teacher I work with declared, "It isn't movie day" and refused to turn on the tv. Nice.

.... yesterday was history in the making, not just some MOVIE. Argh. Frustrated with you. Our boss had the TVs on all day and told us to take whatever time we wanted to watch. So glad for that, he's great with that sort of stuff.

*hugs*

Hopefully there will be places you can watch recaps or the whole thing online.

Wtf, psycho. IT'S NOT MOVIE DAY. Way to try to cheat.:(

Every thing must be run on a schedule. That schedule says no movies, unless it's movie day. Spreading dissent and discord and rebellion like this just makes the children unruly. And you know what happens then, right? The terrorists and foreigners win. Is that what you want? To undo 8 years of George W. Bush's benevolent autocracy and taking your shoes off before you get on a plane to keep you safe from the terrorists?:/
