Just watched Two Weeks Notice, purely because it had Hugh Grant in it. Gah, I'm such a sucker for romantic comedies based on couples that fall in love after being close friends... especially when they're banter involved (Dawson's Creek, anyone?). *sigh*

In other romantic news, my bestest best friend Sarah has a boyfriend now and I'm so happy for ( Read more... )

Liz can you do me a huge favor? My class registration date is November 9th (ugh) and I need to get into CRW2100. It's not 'tracking' per se, but being a creative writing focused English major, several of my future classes hinge on me taking it now. There are only two sections availible (besides the honors one) and it always fills up quickly. CRW2100-1643 is preferred, but I'll take CRW2100-1337 if that's the only one open.

So if you have three spare hours to register for, could you please please please sign up for that, then when you drop it at a later time I'll snap up the empty seat. (I've tried talking to the advisors at the English department, and they've been unhelpful since this class isn't "required". Bah.)

Thanks!

Mine's November 9th as well =(. But, Jonathan is November 4th I believe... he may be able to hold it for you. He said he'd try as long as his schedule permits it.

Also, did you get my message about Ascher?

Yeah I got your message. Ah, the memories.... :-)

I don't know if creative writing will still be open even by November 4th, but much thanks to him for at least trying! I talked to one of the two advisors in the English department, and she basically told me to start considering other option (although she did try to ask around for me, instead of just brushing me off with a "Good luck" like the other guy did). Looks like I might be going into a higher level class than I had planned on for spring! *gulp*
