LOL, shook your hand as if you'd been friends a really long time. Hehehe, that really makes me laugh hehehe. Could be because where I'm from kissing on the cheek is the standard greeting even for strangers, but I dunno that really makes me chuckle. :-p
LOL. It was just weird for them to act so happy to see me... when... we were never even associated together in the least in high school. I sat at the same lunch table as them once... that was about it.
Yeah I know what you mean... there's some kids I literally never spoke to all of high school and now that we're both at UF they're like heeeeeeeeey, how aaaaaaaaare you???
Ignoring me would have been much more the norm (maybe not ignoring, but just... peacefully co-existing...lol), but yeah. It didn't surprise me that Dan or Jen talked to me, but the rest were... odd.
That's cool. Maybe you could have an impromtu early high school reunion of sorts. Then again you've only been out for two years. "So what've you done since you left?" "College." "Really, where at?" "UF" "What a coincidence, me too!"
I've seen people from my high school maybe three, four times? (Not counting the one guy that lived in the same dorm as I did, since I didn't know his name and we only waved as we passed each other.) And all that probably adds up to a total of fifteen minutes of talking with them.
