So I am in the middle or Twilight (the book) right now and I don't get the fascination. Ya know, my students were all raving about it and since I never (still have not) read Harry Potter when it was uber popular, I thought I'd get in touch with pop culture. It's like reading a whiny high school diary. I am finishing the first book because I am compulsive and have to finish a book once I start it, but I will NOT be reading the other three. NO THANKS!

Out of these four, I like exactly one part of one thing. Miley Cyrus has a song called "Can't wait to see you again" that is so ridiculously addictive...

I (co-)mod a Twilight community, and yeah. It pretty much sucks. It's like really shitty self-insertion fanfic. Except it's famous. idek.

As for HSM... well, the appeal for it for me lies pretty much solely in these two videos. The first is just too lolarious not to love, and the second... well, I just love that Disney's so busy protecting the innocence of its characters that the most sexual chemistry in the series ends up being between two guys.
